DRAFT FOR INSTITUTIONAL REVIEW / BORRADOR PARA REVISIÓN INSTITUCIONAL
HIU collects account and examination information to register candidates, process orders, schedule sessions, evaluate performance, issue documents and provide support. Payment card details are handled by Square and are not stored by SPE-HIU.
Each paid examination includes one actual attempt and up to two appointment bookings. Missing both permitted appointments closes the order and forfeits payment unless HIU authorizes an exception. Institution cancellations do not consume a booking. Contact HIU about cancellations, technical incidents and refunds; no automatic refund entitlement is established by this draft.
Identity is visually verified with a passport or driver’s license. Identity document photographs are not stored by default. Examinations are recorded for evaluation with the candidate’s explicit consent. Recording access is restricted and managed manually in Zoom, with an institutional retention target of 30 days. HIU must confirm actual retention and permanent deletion settings before publishing a definitive recording policy.
Results are published only after administrative approval. Certificate verification is public and may show the candidate’s name, examination type/date, scores, levels, issue date, expiration and status. Contact information is not publicly displayed. Expired and revoked results remain historically traceable. Company access to results requires the candidate’s authorization, which can be withdrawn in the account.
HIU debe revisar, completar y aprobar las políticas de privacidad, conservación de datos, cancelaciones, reembolsos y grabación antes de abrir el registro. La aceptación de un resultado depende de la institución receptora. Para consultas utiliza Contact / Support en este portal.
